Our History
Happy Hound Home Services was founded in August 2025 by Nelson Quinnell, a seasoned entrepreneur with a vision to raise the bar in the home services industry. After hearing countless stories and experiencing firsthand the frustration of unreliable providers and inconsistent results, Nelson set out to create a company that did things differently.
From day one, Happy Hound has been built on three pillars: clear communication, professional service, and friendly encounters that make customers feel valued. The goal was simple but powerful: create a better customer experience for homeowners in Evergreen and the surrounding foothills, blending big-business professionalism with the neighborly care you’d expect from a local team.
Meet Nelson Quinnell
Nelson Quinnell, CEO and proud pack leader of Happy Hound Home Services, brings over 17 years of operational management experience in industries ranging from aerospace and industrial water treatment to oil & gas and construction. As a three-time entrepreneur, Nelson has a track record for identifying opportunities to improve service standards and delivering exceptional results.
The inspiration for Happy Hound came from a mix of professional insight and personal conviction. Nelson had experienced the disappointment that comes from subpar service. He wanted to change that narrative by leading a company that delivers what it promises, stands behind its work, and treats every customer with honesty and respect.
Guided by his faith in God, Nelson believes in doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, and bringing joy to everyone he serves: two-legged or four-legged. His passion for animals is woven into the fabric of the business, ensuring Happy Hound is as committed to community give-back as it is to service excellence.
